These terms cover your use of GridAction, a private group-organizing platform for football squares boards, game-day pools and season-long score tracking. By creating an account you agree to them.
1. What GridAction is
GridAction helps groups create boards, invite participants, record square selections, lock boards, draw numbers, track game scores and keep a history of each event. It is an organizational and recordkeeping tool.
2. What GridAction is not
GridAction does not accept, collect, store, transfer, escrow, distribute, facilitate or process money, wagers, entry fees, prizes, payouts, sportsbook bets, gambling accounts, odds or financial settlements. GridAction is not a bookmaker, sportsbook, gambling operator, payment processor, financial intermediary or prize administrator. Optional payments to support or upgrade the app itself, such as a tip to the developer, are handled by a separate payment company, are not tied to any board or game, and are not a wager or an entry fee.
3. Your responsibilities
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- You are responsible for making sure any activity you organize or join follows the laws, rules, venue policies and group agreements that apply to you. GridAction does not decide whether any activity is lawful where you are.
- Keep your password private and tell us about any unauthorized use of your account.
- Only add people to a group, or import their names, when you have a reason to include them.
4. Scores and results
Live scores come from third-party data providers and may be delayed or wrong. Commissioners can correct results, and every correction is recorded in the board’s history. Always confirm official results.
5. Photo imports
Photo import reads a picture of a paper board to save typing. Imported names, squares and numbers are suggestions until a commissioner reviews and confirms them. We don’t keep the photo after it’s read.
6. Premium plans
Premium features are sold as a software subscription for organizers. Subscription fees pay for the software only and are unrelated to any activity your group organizes.
7. Acceptable use
- No harassment, impersonation, or content that is unlawful or infringes others’ rights.
- No attempts to break, overload, scrape or reverse engineer the service.
- No use of GridAction to take bets, collect entry fees or run a gambling business.
8. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. Groups you own are deleted with your account; in other groups your history is anonymized.
9. Disclaimers and liability
GridAction is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for disputes between group members.
